2025 Kids October Activity Week
During the week of 20th to 23rd October 2025, Liquid Footprints will be running a set of exciting outdoor adventure activity days. These will be based around the Inverness and Aviemore area with transport and all technical equipment included.
Activity days on offer are CANOEING, GORGE SCRAMBLING and WEASLING, MOUNTAIN BIKING and SKIING. All activities will be led by fully qualified instructors and we have space for eight children on each day.
Where we start and meet
We will provide all transport for each day and will have three pickup locations, Dingwall Tesco at 9am, Tore at 9.15am and Tiso, Inverness at 9.30am with drop offs the same day with Tiso being at 3.30pm, Tore at 3.45pm and Dingwall at 4pm.

Our Kids October Activity Week here in the Highlands is open to children aged between eight and thirteen.

Monday 20th October
Canoeing – £50pp
Our first trip out for the week will be a canoe journey. The kids will get the chance to explore a remote loch and enjoy lunch on the shoreline before returning home.

Tuesday 21st October
Gorge Scrambling & Weasling – £50pp
Day two does not slow down as we take on two activities, Weasling and Gorge Scrambling. Weasling is a little like caving (see photo at the top of webpage) but with a lot more daylight and Gorge Scrambling is a big adventure with natural slides and fun jumps.

Wednesday 22nd October
Mountain Biking – £70pp
Heading down to the Aviemore area we will collect our mountain bikes and head out on an adventure through the woods. This day is about enjoying time on the bikes and maybe learning a new skill or two.

Thursday 23rd October
Dry Slope Skiing – £75pp
We finish our week off in preperation for the up-coming ski season with a day on a dry ski slope. Its very much like skiing but without the snow. There will be a little ski lift to use and all equipment is provided.
