Canoeing through the Scottish Highlands, along a stunning river or crossing a secluded loch with breathtaking views is one of the best ways to truly explore the Scottish Highlands and the NC500. We run a canoeing trips throughout the the Scottish Highlands and the NC500 with a range of trips at a range of venues and can be either a half day or full day trip.
For us, canoe trips are about more than just canoeing. During our trip we will explore the Highlands of Scotland, discover areas that are just off from the NC500 and you can only reach by canoe and hopefully see some of the amazing Scottish wildlife.
Where do we start and meet
We run our canoeing trips all around the Scottish Highlands and the NC500. We build our canoeing days round you, so we do not have a set place we run our trips. What we like to is find out where you are staying in the Scottish Highlands and meet you at a location that is convenient to you. We know the Highlands of Scotland really well so we are happy to make a suggestion.

Wonderful Canoe outing on Loch Maree
“We (myself, husband and 13 year old son) took a canoe trip on Loch Maree with Liquid Footprints. It was easy to organise and good value. Chris met us at Loch Maree side and after a warm greeting and orientation he assessed our level in the shallows and gave us a few tips. Chris shared a canoe with our son and knew how to make him feel comfortable and confident. He had lots of great local knowledge and stories and we visited some of the islands in the loch. The pace gave us a good paddle but also time to look at and listen to nature. Would heartily recommend this company.”
